The following terms & conditions relate to each purchase from SGChild and your purchase signifies agreement with them and that you fully understand the terms & conditions.
All items sold are brand new and imported or manufactured products. We do not entertain cash refunds under all circumstances, especially after items have been received.
Exchanges are available only on a case-to-case basis and we do not entertain cash refunds under all circumstances.
Defective/Incorrect Item Received
We sincerely apologize if we had sent you a defective / incorrect item.
Upon receipt of any item, please check the condition and report any defects immediately to us.
Please email our Customer Care Team at email@example.com about it and we will get back to you in 2-3 days. Please include your order ID, and close up pictures of the defective area in your email.
*Defective items DO NOT include slight colour differences due to different monitors resolutions and studio lighting, minor defects such as loose threads, small scratches or slight stains on the inner lining, slight asymmetry, slight misalignment of seams or inner lining, dropping of buttons which can be sewn on easily, or any reason that is similar in effect. In general, 'defects' that do not affect the general outlook of the apparels when worn will not be considered as defects and hence, not eligible for exchange.
*Measurements may vary slightly due to mass manufacturing, and the way the item is laid when measuring. Measurement differences of ~1" do not constitute defects and will not be eligible for exchange.
Exchanges for sizing are done on a case to case basis.
An exchange will be carried out if the item comes in sizes, and only if the smaller or larger size you would like to change to is available in stock.
Sizing exchanges can only be done once per order to preserve the freshness and newness of our items.
Exchanges for items on backorder are strictly prohibited.
Do note that backorders may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and refunds or exchanges for delayed backorders are also not allowed.
Free size items
Free size items are not applicable for exchange as measurements have been provided.
Sales Items are strictly non exchangeable or refundable.
All requests for exchange and return have to be submitted within 7 working days from date of posting.
It is also your responsibility to make sure the return items reach our office in good condition.
We are not responsible for lost/damaged cases.
Returns will only be done for item(s) with its tag intact, unworn, unwashed, unaltered and purchased directly from us.
Request for exchanges for articles which do not meet all mentioned conditions will be duly declined.
Customers are to mail the item via a mode of delivery that allows tracking.
SGChild will not proceed on with the return if the parcel does not reach us and are not liable for loss mails sent via normal mail.
Postage charges incurred will be refunded via store credits. There will strictly not be any cash refunds.
Upon receipt of your exchanged item, the new piece will be sent out within 2 working days to allow for all administrative documentation to be completed. In the event that the item is out-of-stock, store credit for will be issued to you, with an expiry date of 12 months.
Do note that store credits will be issued in the form of gift vouchers. Each gift voucher can only be utilized in one transaction, depending on the quantity issued, any excess amount will not be refunded. In addition, it is strictly non-refundable nor extendable.
All additional shipping fees will be borne by the customer as all measurements have been provided.
